Lone Peak junior Eliza Arrington won the girls 6A final in 17:55.7, the fastest time of the meet on the 3-mile course at Sugarhouse Park and Highland to not only become the Knights' first individual Utah High School Activities Association state champion, but also to lead the program to its first team title. Arrington led four Lone Peak athletes placing in the top six to help the Knights prevail by a 31-86 margin over last year's winner American Fork.
